For this evening, Ekaterina and Danielle rent our location for a classical music performance. Join and support international musicians!Â
ABOUT THE PERFORMANCE
Let us take you on a beautiful musical journey. And for this journey, you don’t even need your passport! The route will start at the International Center in Tilburg, 7 May at 19.00. Together with musicians from Fontys, we will travel throughout the world: Spain, Brazil, Italy, France, Poland, and even more. Have yourself a ticket and be prepared for some rhythmical turbulence!

ABOUT THE MUSICIANS
Ekaterina Uvarova is a prize-winner of the Dutch Guitar Foundation Competition (2022) and other 13 international and national competitions. In March 2021 she performed live on the Dutch state radio NPO Radio 4. Also, she had the honor to perform at many prestigious halls, such as Muziekgebouw in Eindhoven, Willem Twee Concertzaal in Den Bosch, and Tchaikovsky Concert Hall in Moscow.
She attended masterclasses with the most important figures of the classical guitar world, such as Leo Brouwer (Cuba), Raphaella Smits (Belgium), Aniello Desiderio (Italy) and many others.
Besides solo performing, Ekaterina Uvarova is passionate about chamber music performance and collaborating with contemporary composers. She is currently finishing her Master’s studies at Fontys with outstanding professor Johan Fostier.
Danielle Rossouw is a South-African clarinetist. She obtained her Bachelor's and Master's at the Conservatory in Ghent and is currently finishing her Master’s studies at Fontys. Danielle was the principal clarinetist in various orchestras and is a member of various chamber music groups. In addition to that, she actively collaborates with contemporary composers.
Besides solo and ensemble performing, she gives masterclasses to young clarinetists in South Africa and abroad to prepare them for concerts and competitions.

- Doors are open at 18.30.
- Tickets include free coffee and tea.
