Explore the city and meet new friends
Through our own experiences, we learned the importance of connecting to the city you live in, especially when you live abroad. Tilburg is often referred to as a 'love on second sight'. We love to show you the hidden gems of the city, and its sometimes blunt but most of the time friendly people.
We often organize fun events, such as spontaneous meet-ups, amazing English stand-up comedy nights, expat cinema screenings with English subtitles, game nights, museum trips, and drinks all over town. No need to feel lonely, there are more than enough chances to sparkle new connections!
We have our own cafe in the city centre. We are only open at dedicated times, which you can find in the list below. During World Cafe, you can bring your own food and snacks (not drinks). These evenings are led by our volunteers, you can always come by yourself to meet new people. Most attendees are easy to approach and connect to, we were all new once.
