Expat Cinema: Ukraine Edition
Once every two months, International Center Tilburg and Cinecitta organize Expat Cinema. The film evening for internationals in Tilburg! Cinecitta picks a relevant film and International Center facilitates extra activities, such as lectures, live music, drinks and more. This month: Olga.
Speakers
Everyone knows about the war in Ukraine. Much has been written and said about it. Before the film screening, we give the stage to a few speakers who will shed light on this topic. Proceeds from this event will be donated to humanitarian aid in Ukraine (Save Life in UA).
The first speaker will be Polina. She is one of the five Ukrainian students who managed to set up a successful fundraising campaign for emergency supplies. It delivered a total of 81 pallets of supplies, which came down to three trucks. First aid kits, personal care equipment, medicines, flashlights and batteries were collected. A…
