Ever wanted to practice a new language without textbooks, pressure, or classroom vibes? Tipsy Tongues is a relaxed language exchange night where conversations flow naturally and drinks help break the ice.

Whether you are fluent, learning, or simply curious, this evening is about connecting with people from different cultures, practicing languages in a fun way, and enjoying a social night out.

What to expect 🥂

You will meet people from different countries and backgrounds while practicing languages through casual, relaxed conversations. Throughout the evening there are fun, low-pressure activities and games to help break the ice, and drinks are available to keep the atmosphere social and comfortable.

Tickets

We like to do things differently, that is why we provide most of our events free of charge. We work with a placeholder ticket system, so you book a ticket which will be refunded if you show up*. You will be able to donate the proceedings of your ticket to International Center. We create these events with a non-profit ideology and will invest the donation into the well-being of the international community. So by donating, you will have fun and support others as well. Win-win!

*If you are not in the situation to order a placeholder ticket due to financial reasons, please send us an email and we will work it out! If you want to cancel your reservation, inform us at least 48 hours prior to the event and we will provide a full refund.

Photographer 📸

Our photographer will be taking photos to capture this memory in the making. In case you feel uncomfortable being photographed, please contact us, and inform the photographer on the evening, so we can make sure to not publish any photos made of you! House rules 🌿

In our venue, people from all over the world meet and connect. To provide a fair and open space to everyone, we have rules in place. Be kind, welcoming, accepting, and loving. Stick to instructions made by staff at all times. Don't move furniture without consent of our team and keep drinks inside. It goes without saying, but discrimination, racism, and sexist behavior is a no-go. We're looking forward to meeting you!
