What to expect 🧡🇳🇱

Many internationals love taking part in local cultural celebrations, and King's Day is one you don’t want to miss. Before heading into the city, we’ll first gather at ICT for a fun introduction: what is this National Holiday all about? We'll share an introduction to the history and cultural meaning of King's Day and why Tilburg transforms into an ORANGE CITY.

After this, we’ll head into the city together to experience King's Night live, surrounded by music, orange colours, and happy celebrations. Dressing up in orange attire is encouraged, but absolutely optional. Whether this is your first King's Night or your fifth, this evening is all about experiencing the local culture, having fun, and celebrating together.

Note: we will provide fun face paint; little Dutch flags on your cheek!

Tickets

We like to do things differently, that is why we provide most of our events free of charge. We work with a placeholder ticket system, so you book a ticket which will be refunded if you show up*. You will be able to donate the proceedings of your ticket to International Center Tilburg. We create these events with a non-profit ideology and will invest the donation into the well-being of the international community. So by donating, you will have fun and support others as well. Win-win!

*If you are not in the situation to order a placeholder ticket due to financial reasons, please send us an email and we will work it out! If you want to cancel your reservation, inform us at least 48 hours prior to the event and we will provide a full refund.
