About the event

See two comedy specials in one night!

Join Dave and Hermes, as they take the stage on a journey through time and space! Dave Thompson is a British comedian, who starred as Tinky Winky in the Telletubies! Hermes Ahmadi never starred as anything, but, as a hairy Afghan, is furry by nature!

About the comedian: Dave Thompson 🇬🇧

Dave has performed his stand-up comedy act in fifty countries outside the UK, and several cruise ships. Known for his one-liners and absurd persona, Dave has written material for many other comics, including Harry Hill, Omid Djalili, and Stewart Lee.

Dave has appeared in many episodes of 'Harry Hill's TV Burp', 'Never Mind The Buzzcocks', nine episodes of Al Murray's sitcom on Sky - 'Time Gentlemen Please', the feature films 'Maybe Baby' written and directed by Ben Elton, 'Harry Hill - The Movie', 'Huge', directed by Ben Miller, and 'I Want Candy' starring Carmen Electra.

Since 2021 he’s had speaking parts in 'The Munsters' directed by Rob Zombie, a Hollywood feature film, ’The Last Kingdom’ on Netflix, and three American drama series - ‘The Continental’, 'Fallen', and 'The Pendragon Cycle'.  He plays a Royalist officer in the new drama series 'Royal Kill List' (Sky History), and is in Harry Hill's new independent film 'The Last Caveman'. He's also in 'The Last Sacrifice', directed by Rupert Russell, which premiered on March 7th, 2025. He's best-known for having been the actor in the Tinky Winky costume in the world famous TV show 'Teletubbies’.

About the comedian: Hermes Ahmadi 🇦🇫

The creator of our comedy club, the one and only, the Hermes Ahmadi!

Hermes (1987) decided to nosedive into comedy a bit over four years ago and immediately entered the finals of small festivals in the Netherlands! He quickly toured around the Netherlands and picked up shows in neighbouring Belgium and Germany as well. From clubs, to pubs to theaters, if there’s a stage, a stool and a mic (and a bar), Hermes will be there!

Meanwhile, he developed his own brand of comedy, combining personal stories with absurd thoughts and sometimes wholesome, sometimes scalding observations about our best and worst habits. His material varies from cheese to driving, from climate change to the end of the world!

In 2022, he started touring with his very first solo show named “You might be here”, about his life in Afghanistan in war and peace, his journey to the Netherlands and the weird Western European culture he grew up in.
