International Comedy

International Comedy is back in Tilburg! For this edition, we'll collaborate with Cinecitta Films en meer and host Tilburg's international comedy night in Cinecitta's fully equipped 'Room X'.

About the comedians

Hermes Ahmadi will once again select several great comedians to provide an excellent array of laughs, giggles and fun from all over the world. Updates about the comedians will follow!  

Fedor Ikelaar - He always felt a bit out of place in his native country Netherlands. So, a few years ago he left home to live in Nepal, where he feels even more out of place. Nowadays, he is one of the biggest English language comedians in Nepal, as he is quite tall. A full-time touring comedian, Fedor regales audiences all over the world with stories of being surrounded by spiritual Nepalese, opium dealers and forgotten hippies. He mostly fits himself in one of the aforementioned categories except at international airports ~ where he goes to hold on to his Dutch passport. Fedor founded Top of the World Comedy, and recently organized Nepal’s first international comedy festival. As a co-founder of the Nepal-based comedy collective, Comedy Tuk Tuk, he tries to help up-and-coming local talent by staring down at them.

Hermes Ahmadi has always been fascinated by human behaviour, so he decided to study sociology. When he found out humanity is even weirder than science can explain, the logical step for him was to become a comedian. But let's be honest, he himself isn't normal either, with his weird diet and hitch-hiking habits!

Sharon Em fluctuates between trying hard and hardly trying. Mostly found on her couch plotting how to realise her life goal of having pints with Tommy Tiernan (main life inspiration). Or pondering if straight bananas will ever be a thing! Her best friends describe her as 'who?
