World Cafe (Game Night)

Game night is back! In our bookcase you can find all kinds of games: board games, card games, and more. For example, we have Ticket to Ride, Dixit, Taboo, and Perudo. Feel free to bring your own! The more the better. May the best win!

You're welcome at the cafe between 20.00 and 23.30. Our cafe isn't like any other, because we guarantee you can come by yourself! We always have multiple volunteers available eager to meet you, and connect you to others. 

World Cafe

During World Cafe, the doors of our cafe will open to bring people together. We're working on a cool program such as these game nights, but also dinners, live music, workshops, and so on.

Moving furniture and objects

We have recently noticed that visitors move furniture and objects in the cafe on their own initiative. We would like to make it clear that this is not allowed. If there is a wish to move something, this should always be brought up with the staff. Our staff is responsible for moving furniture or objects. Not only do we want to protect our newly purchased furniture, the furniture is also arranged in such a way that we guarantee fire safety.

RSVP/Ticket policy - be on time

Our cafe can host up to 50 visitors. To provide a fair participation policy, RSVP's and free tickets do not guarantee a reserved seat during World Cafe. We operate on a first-come first-serve basis, so make sure you arrive on time for the event. Once we reach 50 visitors, new visitors will be denied access, no matter if they’ve RSVP'd or not. There is one exception: donation tickets for live music World Cafe editions. We provide the option to leave a donation for the musician, everyone who orders a donation ticket will have a reserved seat until 9PM. At 9PM these reservations will be cancelled to provide space for people waiting at the door. Thanks for understanding!

House rules

We have a few house rules to provide a pleasant experience to everyone.

1. Everyone who is welcoming, is welcome (no discrimination, racism, sexism, i.e.)
2. Instructions of staff must be followed at all times
3. Park your bicycle in the bicycle parking or on the square
4. It is not allowed to bring your own drinks
5. It is not allowed to take drinks outside
6. It is not allowed to move any furniture or objects
7. Feel free to bring your own food, but please dispose your waste in the bin outside
8. For safety purposes, we use camera surveillance; we do not record nor store any footage
9. Visitors are free not to make a purchase, and can receive tap water for free ❤️
10. Want to buy an alcoholic drink? Our staff may ask for ID. Under 18 or no ID = no alcohol)
