About the Event
SQL for Beginners is a hands-on workshop designed to introduce individuals with no prior programming or data experience to the world of data analytics through SQL. The goal is to make data skills approachable, practical, and relevant.
The focus will be on building confidence and competence in using SQL to analyze and transform data, all within a supportive, beginner-friendly environment. You will work in a group with a coach on individual tasks that can be completed with an online SQL editor.
By the end of the workshop, participants should be able to:
Understand the basics of SQL and relational databases.
Write queries to retrieve and filter data.
Use SQL transformation functions to manipulate data.
