Culture & Food | De Pont & Pancakes

Our first event of the year had to be something typical 'Tilburgs'. That's why we will visit the world famous museum De Pont. What will you see there? Contemporary art, experimental and sometimes mind-blowing. A famous piece is located in front of the museum: Sky mirror by Anish Kapoor.

Fun fact: the museum has been nominated Best exhibition of 2019! We will contemplate on the nominated exhibition by Luc Tuymans.

After the visit to the museum, we're going to eat pancakes at De Pannekoekenbakker Tilburg! Did you know they have all kinds of pancakes? Savory pancakes, sweet pancakes, to eat as a main meal or dessert. Mm....

Practical: - We meet at 18:00 at the front of De Pont. - Entrance of the museum is free at thursday nights (5pm - 8pm) - Costs of the pancakes T.B.A. - Everyone is welcome: students, expats, migrants, locals who want to meet internationals and more (there is no age limit)
