Are you a young professional about to start your career and going through the process of looking for a job? Or maybe you have started but are wondering: is this it? Then make sure to join this event!

About this Event

In collaboration with professional development coach and trainer Raquel Lopez, we are hosting a 3.5-hour workshop to help you:

• Get clarity on your purpose and vision for your career, as well as feeling committed and motivated to take steps forward
• Feel confident about your strengths, talents and contribution and be ready to nail that interview
• Get tools to stay resilient and navigate the process of looking for a job/changing jobs with ease
• Leverage the power of the community – network and find support from peers

We will start at 14:00 and close at 17:30. There will be a short preparation task required, so make sure to sign up in advance so that you have time to prepare.

About the Facilitator

With experience in HR and Learning and Development in Organizations, Raquel came into contact with the power of coaching for the first time in 2015. She found in it the instrument she was looking for to fulfill her purpose: to inspire others to lead from the heart.

Since then, she has trained and worked as a coach and facilitator for individuals and teams in corporate. She specializes in the practice of self-compassion and embodied and systemic leadership.

Preparing for the workshop

In this session, Raquel will guide you to reflect, use your imagination and explore with others. You will find out more about what motivates you and what it is that you need to further shape your career in a way that it’s true to who you are. To make the most out of this event, we’d like to share a preparation task:

• Take a moment to reflect on your talents and strengths.
• Choose 3 items that you associate with your key talents. Maybe these items connect you to a memory in which your talent shined. Or you simply think they are a good representation of your strengths. It could be a physical object, an image, a picture, a sound or song.
• Bring them to the Career Compass event and be ready to share something about them.
• Bonus: If you are struggling to find out or get clear about your talents, ask friends and family about what talents or strengths they see in you. Always very insightful!

On 11 November, please also make sure to be on time so that we can all start together and bring pen and paper for your own notes.
